May marks the month of Mother’s Day and May 16, which would have been Liberace’s 89th birthday. In celebration the 2008 Music In The Museum Series is featuring the Liberace Scholars Quartet, students from UNLV. Liberace founded the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts in 1976 and since has awarded more than 5 million dollars in scholarship grants to more than 2200 students at over 110 colleges and universities.  Liberace considered The Foundation one of his greatest achievements.

The performance times of the Liberace Scholars Quartet are 1:30pm and 3:00pm. Donations are requested for both performances. All contributions go to the Liberace Scholarship Fund to help talented students pursue careers in the performing and creative arts.
 
Free Museum Admission for Nevada Residents
