Always the entertainer, Liberace created his own television show, "The Liberace Show"
where he could control his presentation as fully as he did in his club
shows. The show ran from 1952-1957 and originally ran for only 15
minutes and later increased to 30 minutes. His television show was huge
success and drew over thirty million viewers at any one time and
received ten thousand fan letters per week.

FEBRUARY 3, 1979, “Liberace: A Valentine Special”,
CBS-TV, is taped at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel, the Liberace Museum,
Liberace’s Las Vegas Villa and on the Queen Mary (Long Beach, CA).
Other performers include: Sandy Duncan, Lola Falana and the Magic
Circus of Taiwan.
FEBRUARY 1, 1978, The television special, “Leapin’ Lizards, It’s Liberace”,
is shown on CBS-TV (taped 1/9/78). This special is taped at Liberace’s
Las Vegas Villa and at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel. Other performers on
this show: Debbie Reynolds, Phyllis Diller, Barclay Shaw (puppeteer),
Vince Cardell (pianist) and the Chinese Acrobats of Taiwan.
